Question about grocery store coupons?

My local grocery store chain has deals where if you sign up for there email flyers you receive coupons such as $5.00 off your next purchase of $25 dollars or more. How do they know if you print off more than one coupon and use it. My printer will keep printing them. You don't have to have a store savings card to join there email list. Any one know?- Thanks
